Although not a Christmas tradition, this is still one of those things that I do every year with my family and my girl friends. Sure ice skating is year round and maybe not that cool but this one is an outdoor rink in Bellevue which everybody knows makes it that much cooler. Actually the ice is really bad and none of my friends really know how to ice skate, but it is a great memory we make every year. Because friends that fall on there butts together, stay together. So yet again another year of ice skating, and we'll do it again next year.

Farm Girl
Today was a big day for me on the farm. Okay well it may not really be a farm, and it really may not be that exciting but don't burst my bubble. We've had this big red tractor since I was a little girl and it hasn't worked for years. But with the help of my Dad, and the missionaries they got it up and running. Then came the time for me to learn to drive it. What a scary yet exciting moment for me. I got to drive it all the way to the gas station to fill up and back on the road and then got to drive it around the pasture a little. When it came time to actually do something useful with the tractor I wasn't feeling so brave so I hoped off and gave Elder Rasmussen a turn. But decided to hop on the back of the other tractor with Elder Cox and do some damage with a back hoe. Which is more fun than I imagined. After a few hours of clearing out blackberry bushes I had my fill of farm work.

Merry Christmas
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas! The most exciting morning of the year. I always walk out to a wondrous display of presents from "Santa". With many more under the tree waiting for me. I am never disappointed in all the great things I get for Christmas. This year my main and favorite present would have to be my record player. But what I love even more was just spending time with my family. Not to mention the delicious cinnamon roles we have every Christmas Morning with hot cocoa. But as much as I love the worldly Christmas traditions with presents and candy I love my savior Jesus Christ even more. It is so important to remember his birth on this special day and all he has done for me and all of his children. I have been so blessed to have such amazing heavenly parents and to have been born into an equally as amazing early family. They have given me everything I could ever ask for. Unconditional love, support, a testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and have taught me so well. I will never be able to give them anything close to as great as everything they have given me but just always let them know they are loved and appreciated. I hope they everyone had a great Christmas and remembered the true reason for this wondrous day.

Chritstmas Eve
Merry Christmas Eve! I could not be any happier to be home for Christmas with my wonderful family. I mean just look at all those presents under the tree. Who wouldn't be excited about that? But of course one of those lovely boxes had to contain my Christmas pajamas that I open every year on Christmas Eve. This year I got lucky and got two pairs. What a wonderful time of the year.

Christmas Traditions
You can never get to old to climb up on your Daddy's shoulders to put the star on the Christmas tree. One of the many perks of being an old child, I get to do this every single year. This is without a doubt one of my favorite Christmas time traditions.

Thanksgiving Break 2012
Home sweet home! Oh and Happy Thanksgiving. I was lucky enough to be able to travel home for the break, it was a short visit but it was much needed. I am so thankful for being able to come home to such wonderful people. Even though it was a short visit it was much needed and there is seriously nothing better than being able to spend some quality time with your parents and cousins. Not to mention all the wonderful food I got to eat. Looking forward for Christmas break and the chance to actually spend lots of time with my family, and friends.

Halloween 2012
I love love love Halloween! This year was a little sad not being home having our annual party but it actually turned out being great. We had a party at Zach's house. I got a little creative and made mine and Zach's costume this year, I love DIY projects almost as much as I love Halloween. I was so happy that Zach was peter pan with me, I'm obsessed with how cute it looked! Addie was mini mouse so we were the Disney trio. We took millions of pictures it was like prom all over again but it Halloween costumes. All the girls looked great and so did the guys. Especially Matt's slender man costume. I wish I could dress up as tinkerbell every day.

Halloween 5k
Halloween 5k run at midnight! Me and Addie were thing 1 & thing 2 from Dr. Seuss. Even though the BYU honor code wasn't a fan of the tutu's and made us change. We still had such a fun night. Not really sure what the boys were dressed as other than crazy, but they were great running partners. Only took us 30 minutes to run the race and we did it in the snow! I've decided that races are much more fun in costume.

First Snow in Rexburg
Welcome to Rexburg Idaho! It's not even Halloween and it's snowing. It is freezing to walk in and smooshy but it's beautiful. I guess this is normal here though so I should get used to it. But mom was right, I should have brought more winter clothes. The snowman building will have to wait till I can get some.

Straw Maze
One of my many fun date nights that I've gotten to go on since I've been here. We went to the straw maze which is now haunted for Halloween! My favorite holiday ever. It was kind of scary but so much fun. The clown in the picture had a lasso and tried to catch me, but failed. Since it's Rexburg though of course it was freezing so afterwards we got hot cocoa and elephant ears. Delicious! We also saw an adorable baby kangaroo.

First Semester Family Home Evening Group
This is part of my Family Home Evening Group. I think they are all super great. Miranda, Camille and Astrid are all in my apartment with me. Then there is Kim. He is Korean so we call him Asian Kim. I'm not sure if he likes his nickname or not but oh well. Oh and my FHE mom and dad are engaged. How weird is that? Anyways we always have lots of fun.

First job in college
I got a job! This picture in a mirror really has nothing to do with anything other than I took it on my break time. See how scrubby I am? I love having no dress code for work. I am thankful that I have a job and am able to save money for important things and traveling. Although that doesn't mean I don't hate it. I call people all day long, boring as heck and get hung up constantly. Oh what joy. But a job is a job and I am making money. So yay!

4 wheeling
Next up on my college adventures was riding 4 wheelers to the top of a mountain. But of course the mountains in Idaho are nothing compared to home, not just size wise but there is zero greenage. I still had a fun time with all these awesome people though. I'm really starting off college great here!

Rock Climbing
Went "real" rock-climbing for the first time ever. It was such a blast. I went with Kendra and her family. Plus the newest addition Scott's wife. But man was it a workout. Well worth it though.
